Swim Program

For maximum safety and growth, we will place individuals in levels deemed most appropriate by our swim staff. Our team is highly skilled in working with swimmers at all levels of ability, even anxious beginners!

Lessons for K-5

Please Note: All children WILL be in the pool starting day one of program. The first few days of lessons will be dedicated to evaluations and assessments in order for our swim staff to appropriately designate camper swim levels.

Counselors will transition students to and from the pool for daily swim lessons where they manage the changing process. Daily lessons are 25 minutes and will include the standard amount of out-of-water demonstration and lecture on the topics of water safety and/or lifesaving. Students will receive an end of the session evaluation of their skills and placement in the American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim program.

  • Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills
  • Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills
  • Level 3: Stroke Development
  • Level 4: Stroke Improvement
  • Level 5: Stroke Refinement
  • Level 6: Swimming and Skill Proficiency

Recreational Free Swim for 2nd - 5th

2nd – 5th grade participants have the option of recreational free swim if qualified for swim level 3 and above. Each swimmer will be assessed to determine free-swim section eligibility (shallow, mid, and deep water). Level 2 swimmers will be assessed weekly in their morning swim lesson to determine possible movement to free swim eligibility in afternoon programs.
