Dance at Head-Royce is offered throughout the K-12 curriculum and taught as an expressive art, focusing on personal growth and instilling a sense of community and artistic appreciation. Students explore space, time, and energy while practicing how to see, hear, and express themselves through movement.
As Dance at Head-Royce is open to all students, performance opportunities exist for each age and level of dancer by way of school musicals, dramatic productions, and community meetings. FADE, our intensive, Upper School student-run dance program, stages a major collaborative production each spring.
