Dear Neighbors,
As you may already know, Head-Royce School has entered into a lease agreement with Ability Now Bay Area for the long-term use of their vacant field for the School’s athletic practices. The School has been working hard to restore the field in preparation for student-athlete use, which has included the planting of new sod and installation of safety fencing and netting. The field will be ready for student use by October 29, at the earliest. Neighbors are warmly invited to attend a community ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, November 1 from 3-5. Please RSVP by sending an email to Maureen DeCoste at mdecoste@abilitynowba.org.
In the meantime, we wanted to share the conditions of the field’s use, which may also be found on the neighbor page of the School’s website (headroyce.org/neighbors). These conditions of use will also be posted on the ANBA property. All coaches, students, and families are bound to these conditions:
Please note that the field is not open to the public per Ability Now’s specific request, and pets are not permitted on the field at any time.
Please direct all questions or concerns to Mary Fahey, Head-Royce’s Director of Neighbor Relations, at mfahey@headroyce.org. Thank you!
