The City of Oakland's Final Conditions of Approval for Head-Royce's Planned Unit Development establish requirements governing the school's campus, operations, traffic and parking, special events, neighborhood relations, and future development at 4315 and 4368 Lincoln Avenue.

Located in a high fire-risk area of the Oakland hills, Head‑Royce maintains ongoing fire prevention and emergency preparedness efforts to help protect students, employees, visitors, and neighboring properties. These efforts include vegetation management, routine grounds maintenance, emergency planning, staff training, and coordination with local agencies.
The Neighborhood Liaison Committee (NLC) helps strengthen the relationship betweenHead‑Royce and our surrounding neighborhoods.
