Welcome to the 2025–26 application season. We are pleased to announce that Head-Royce is now inviting prospective students and families to visit our stunning grounds, nestled in the Oakland hills. While all of our events are optional, you can take advantage of the opportunity to visit. However, you are more than welcome to apply without an in-person visit. To register for admissions events, you will need to start an account on Ravenna. We look forward to meeting you!

Parent Tours

Parent Tours

Our divisional Parent Tours offer adult visitors an opportunity to see Head-Royce in session during a typical school day and address parents' and guardians' most common questions.

Lower School
We offer kindergarten and first grade parent tours on Mondays and Tuesdays from October through December. We will offer a tour focusing on grades 2–5 during the months of October and November.

Middle School
We offer parent tours on Thursdays throughout the fall and winter.

Upper School
We offer parent tours throughout the fall and winter on Friday mornings.

Student Visits

Our divisional Student Visits will provide applicants a first-hand feel for Head-Royce School during a typical school day, with dynamic activities specially designed to engage prospective students and thoughtfully address their most pressing questions.

Middle School: Thursdays throughout the fall and winter
Upper School: Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the fall and winter
