At Head‑Royce, community engagement isn't an extracurricular… it's part of the curriculum. From kindergarten through senior year, students engage with real communities and real problems.
The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) is the school's K–12 hub for civic learning, and the place where Head‑Royce's commitment to equity, inclusion, and purpose-driven action moves from the classroom into the world. For many students, it's also where they discover what they truly care about and find the courage to act on it.
The CCE also connects students globally through study-travel programs and semester abroad partnerships, bringing students face to face with communities, cultures, and perspectives that no classroom alone can provide.
Parents and alumni open their professional worlds to current students through sponsored internships — giving students real-world experience across a remarkable range of fields, from medicine and technology to the arts and entrepreneurship.
