After-School Program Director

As the Director of the After-School Program, Natalie manages the day to day operations and overall long-term vision planning of the program. She is responsible for implementation of all parts of the program (enrichment program, music program, swim program) as well as maintenance and development of our partnerships between these programs and the greater Oakland community. Prior to arriving at Head-Royce in 2015, Natalie served as a 1st grade associate teacher at St. Joachim School in Hayward, CA.

Natalie graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with her BA in Psychology with a focus in Childhood Development. She has been a part of the Head-Royce Summer community for the past twelve Summers and is now entering her seventh year at Head-Royce and second year as the Director of ASP and Associate Director of Summer Program. She has worked in multiple departments throughout both academic years and summers at Head-Royce in roles such as Summer Enrichment Program counselor, Summer Program's Administrative Assistant and Associate Director of ASP. With an undeniable love for this work, she is passionate about providing safe, youth-centered and enriching recreational environments for students.
