About this Web Page
Hi! My name is Maureen, and I am the sole creator of this Web Page.
This project is part of my 10th grade American History class at the Head-Royce
School, for which we had to choose a topic between the years of 1877 and 1925 to
write a paper and make a web site about. I chose the topic
of the Panama Pacific
International Exposition of 1915 because it was held in San
Francisco, a city close to
my own home, and I'm also very interested in the World Fairs.
I leaped at the
opportunity to research about the decorative and fun aspects
of the Exposition, and
my goals were to focus mainly on the art of the buildings and courts
of the Exposition,
and to learn as much about the Exposition as I could in the time allotted.
I hope everyone
has enjoyed my web site, and has learned from it as well!
