Admissions Information

Head-Royce School seeks students who can profit from a rigorous academic program and who are capable of the self-discipline necessary to succeed. The School seeks a diverse student body; admission is open to all students regardless of race, color, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality or ethnic origin. Students are accepted in kindergarten through grade eleven, with the largest numbers entering in kindergarten, sixth, and ninth grades.

Fifty percent of the approximately 850 students at HRS are students of color. Our community includes students with different learning styles as well as physical disability. All family structures including traditional nuclear, blended, single parent, gay/lesbian and adopted celebrate the diversity of our population. The School encourages applications from underrepresented groups and welcomes all inquiries.
